Three humans, heavily supervised by their own pets

June grew up in Wichita with a beagle named Biscuit and a barn cat named Birdie, which settled both her career and, eventually, the sign above the door. After a decade in emergency medicine she opened this clinic to practice the slow, talky kind of vet care the ER never had time for. Special interests: internal medicine, senior dogs, and clients who bring lists of questions (bring the list).

Currently outnumbered by: Two greyhounds (Wesley, Buttermilk) who commute to work with her and have opinions about the thermostat.

Sam is the reason cats at Biscuit & Birdie get their own quiet exam room, their own shelf of hiding boxes, and appointments padded so nothing ever has to be rushed with a cat watching. He is our dental nerd, our low-stress-handling trainer, and a man who has genuinely leash-trained a cat. Ask him about it; budget twenty minutes.

Hiking partner: Penny, a tuxedo cat who rides on his shoulder and has logged more trail miles than most beagles.

Rosie runs the front of house: the schedule, the texts, the estimates, and the peanut-butter budget (substantial). If you have ever called at 5:58p in a panic, hers is the voice that stayed calm. She keeps a photo wall of every puppy and kitten first visit, and no, you may not skip having your pet on it.

At home: Nacho, a one-eyed chihuahua adopted from a client, now the unofficial mascot of the front desk.
